HAND-PAINTED BAGS
Beginning with blank rolls of canvas, Susan cuts the styles for each of her clutches, totes, weekenders and backpacks. She paints them with striking colors, vibrant brush strokes and funky designs. The blend of paints and finish allows her bags to withstand wear and retain their vivid colors. Because the bags are all hand-painted, no two bags are ever identical. All are sewn to perfection, sealed, and signed by the artist.
THE LEAH CLUTCH: These unique fold-over clutches are perfect for day or evening. Fun and funky yet classic in style, these elegant bags will turn any ordinary outfit into something extraordinary. Approximately 12" wide x 5" high when folded, the lid is inserted with a hidden magnetic seal. The clutches are detailed, sealed and signed by the artist. Most bags are topped with exotic horn buttons, shells, buckles, crystals, floral clips, or antique pins. A new line with clay sculpted adornments can be reversed for two different looks. Constantly changing designs.
THE CHARLIE TOTE: Painted on the same sturdy canvas as the clutches, the 12" wide x 14" high x 3.5" deep totes have two pockets to quickly retrieve cell and keys and are roomy enough for your IPAD. Sturdy black woven handles measure approximately 23" long. This fun and funky but classic design will not go out of style.
THE WEEKENDER: Spacious and roomy with pockets for passport, cell and other essentials, this eye-catching soft-structured bag can hold two days of clothes and fits snugly under the plane seat. The perfect companion for a weekend get-a-way. Any design is possible on this versatile and colorful bag.
THE HARRISON: These classic leather bags are all custom-order. Artisan-made leather with impeccible binding, these spacious bags measure 15" wide x 14" high x 6" deep can hold your laptop, notebook, and more. Five convenient padded pockets plus four pen holders will keep you organized for life. Cream, brown, or black leather. with adjustable straps.
Designer, Painter and Sculptor, Susan Tancer creates her collection of contemporary artisan accessories out of her Palm Beach Gardens' home studio. She is inspired by her family and good health and can be found painting in her studio day or night or wherever she may be (canvas and paint are never left behind on her travels). Susan believes that art should inspire and make the viewer feel good. She hopes that wearing her pieces allows women to feel confident, creative, and happy.
Susan donates 5% of all sales to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, a place dear to her heart and the inspiration behind her painting.
